Hervé HANUISE

Born on July 23, 1945, Hervé Hanuise has dedicated his life to commercial engineering, project management and IT.
After a stint at FUCAM in Mons (commercial engineering), he enriched his training with studies in electronic measurements in Dijon and in computer electronics in the United States before participating in the management of Granitière Hanuise, Gaudier-Rembaux and Raffo in the field of building stones.

His professional career spans five decades, during which he has held positions as general manager, CEO, accountant and IT specialist. He has acquired in-depth expertise in management, business administration and production management. At the same time, he has developed skills in computer hardware and software, programming (in particular in C, C++, Visual Basic, VBA, HTML, PHP, JavaScript) and reporting applications via Excel and VBA.

In 2000, he founded Affordable Solutions, a consultancy company offering services in the development of reports, analyses and datamarts for boards of directors, using mainly Excel, VBA and Access. Over the years, he has collaborated with various Belgian companies, such as Euroclear, Scale Models s.a., Fire-Technic s.a., Magasins Gipsy s.a. Merbes-Sprimont, and Flatlined Games, providing services ranging from website updates to production planning redesigns.

In 2024, after a rich and diversified career, Hervé Hanuise decided to retire, while remaining available to meet the demands of his loyal clients. His career illustrates a constant adaptation to technological developments and a commitment to improving business processes.

Consultancy for SCRL EVRART, rue Haute, ATH (Belgium). - Development of a brand new application mastering fabrication prices in Euros, with lots of parameters and outgoing stock management, delivery sheets, order sheets for the fabrication dept., and invoicing to customers. Export Coordinator (Ets Achille Marchal in St Gilles - Brussels) : sale of mechanical seals : you know that kind of seal placed on the sternpost of a ship (some of them with a diameter of +170cm). The job was unique : I had to contact the various plants all around the world and make sure that the mechanical seal requested for a given ship be 'just in time' at a given dock in a given harbour somewhere else in the world : very exiting but very tricky : any delay for the ship in the harbour costs millions per day.
